Kyiv, September 13. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday met with the Deputy Director of the IMF David Lipton. The parties discussed the issue of providing Kiev the next tranche under the program of financial assistance to Ukraine.
"It was about the perspectives for the implementation of the Memorandum of economic and financial policies in the context of the provision of the next tranche of Ukraine in the framework of the Mechanism of the extended financing", — wrote Poroshenko in Facebook.
Lipton, in his turn, noted the improved economic situation in the country and encouraged Poroshenko to use it to complete the reforms..
