Kyiv, July 17. Kiev intends to return to the agenda the issue of joining NATO. This was stated on Monday the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Board the frigate "Hetman Sahaidachny", which is the flagship of the naval forces of Ukraine.
"Our intention to return on the agenda the issue of the action plan on membership in NATO and the approach of the military-industrial sector to the standards of the Alliance, confirmed by a public opinion poll strong support of such a strategy — all this indicates that the chosen course is correct and uncontested," — said the Ukrainian leader at the opening ceremony of the Ukrainian-American military exercise Sea Breeze in Odessa.
