Norwegian air force for the first time in history headed by a woman

Oslo, 29 January. The first woman to be appointed head of the Norwegian air force, became 49-the summer General-the major Tonya Skinnarland, reports local media.

Skinnarland fulfilled duties of the head of the air force from October 2016, on the death of her predecessor, Per-Egil Rygg. At the end of last week, Skinnarland was officially appointed by the state Council of Norway.
