The ex-President of Romania sued for Dodon

Chisinau, January 27. Former President Traian Basescu filed in the Supreme court of justice of Moldova in relation to the head of the Republic Igor Dodon, deprived of his citizenship.

Former Romanian leader Traian Basescu was deprived of citizenship of Moldova by order of the President Igor Dodon. To appeal against the decision of the head of the Republic is possible only through the Supreme court of justice. On the eve of the ex-President of Romania filed a lawsuit against Dodona, however, the date of the meeting in this case is not defined.

According to human rights activist of the Romanian policy, the decision of the President of Moldova is contrary to local and European legislation on citizenship.
