Moscow, September 14. Specialists are part of rostec Corporation holding company Ruselectronics has created a high-precision local navigation system which provides positioning accuracy to 10 cm and it does not require launch navigation satellites. The system will be able to use towers of mobile operators, and its signal is more resistant to suppression than the signal from the satellite, and has built-in protection against spoofing.
"the System almost completely eliminates the possibility of third-party effects to distort or abduction navigation data", — noted in the Rostec Corporation.
the local navigation System uses range-finding principle, performing the role of "pseudo", and such a high positioning accuracy allows to use its for coordination of unmanned vehicles. In the future it is planned to improve the system accuracy to unprecedented at the moment, 2-3 mm at a distance of 50-70 kilometers from base stations, representatives of Rostec.
The size of the onboard module of the system do not exceed 10 centimeters..
