Moscow, 7 Aug. the Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov during a meeting with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced that by September 1 in Moscow will be closed two solid waste landfill — Kulakovskiy in the Chekhov district of the region and Tsarevo in Pushkin. The Prime Minister said that they must be replaced with a combusting plants, which should be created at a high technological level.
"the order of the President, we have consistently closed polygons where they already live. These polygons 50-60 years, they have exhausted their limits, and of the 39 polygons we have so far closed 22, two — Kulakovskiy and Tsarevo — we close on the 1st of September, because nearby, in particular in the Chekhov district, is a school" — said the Governor.
"Polygons cause well-founded criticism of people who do not want to live next to a landfill.
Therefore, the use of other technologies, including musoroszhigayushchikh enterprises – despite the fact that they are expensive, probably in the right way," — said the Prime Minister .
