Putin approved changes in the structure of the nuclear weapons complex of Russia

Moscow, January 27. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the consolidation of a number of nuclear industry enterprises of the country.

According to the document signed by the head of state, some Federal state unitary enterprises operating in the nuclear sector, will be reorganised. The decree States that it is, in particular, about "Production Association "Mayak" in the Chelyabinsk region, which will be connected to the "Basalt" from the Saratov region.

Also, Nizhny Novgorod Scientific research Institute of measuring systems named Sedakova will be merged with the "Russian Federal nuclear center — all-Russian research Institute of experimental physics", located in the same region.

For the implementation of the presidential decree includes a period of 24 months.

Earlier it was reported that the U.S. Congress in the near future will not be limiting presidential powers in the sphere of use of nuclear weapons.
