Berlin, January 28. the Mayor of Berlin Michael Muller published an open letter to the US President Donald Trump to desist from the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico.
In a letter published on Berlin.de Mueller compares the construction of the wall on the us-Mexican border with the Berlin wall that until 1989 had divided East and West Berlin.
"We, the Berliners, better most people know how much it hurts when a continent divided by barbed wire and walls. In the end, we — the people — this division is overcome, and this is one of the greatest moments of the 20th century," writes Mueller.
the Mayor of Berlin addressed to the Tramp with the request "not to follow this false path of isolation and exclusion". According to him, in places "where there are still these restrictions in Korea, in Cyprus, they create slavery and suffering."
