Washington, January 27. Prime Minister Theresa may on Friday visited Washington and met with U.S. President Donald Trump. Thus, she became the first of the world leaders who held formal talks with the White house.
"We'll take the world together," she said.
Trump showed the head of the British government plaster bust of its famous predecessor, Winston Churchill, which he brought back to the Oval office immediately after taking office.
In response, Mei thanked Trump and politicians shook hands.
The Prime Minister expressed the hope that her visit to the United States will give beginning of a new era of British-American relations, reports The Telegraph..
