Moscow, January 27. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov urged not to expect a "substantive contacts around the perimeter" of the telephone conversation the heads of Russia Vladimir Putin and the United States Donald Trump is scheduled for January 28. The representative of the Kremlin said that the Russian leader will discuss with the American President highlights relations of the Russian Federation and the United States.
Peskov also declined to make predictions about whether the two presidents to agree on a personal meeting. According to him, it is expected that the phone conversation will take place on Saturday evening. Peskov added that Putin congratulated his American counterpart on assumption of office.
"Usually in the course of such contacts is an exchange of opinions on the basic parameters of the current state of bilateral relations", — concluded the spokesman.
Note that this will be the first telephone conversation between leaders of both countries after the inauguration of the Trump.
